PHASE 2
Phase two is about developing further your chosen topic by using visual research, brainstorming, reading, etc. This is the phase to actually understand better the theme and would you develop into a game ideas in the phase of the project.
PERSONAL EXPLORATION
To get an even better understanding of the topic I decided to experience my own urban exploration trips around areas of Hampshire and Dorset. To document the trips I wanted to film the journey with an old tape camera, the camera I was able to loan out from the university but due to the sheer size of the camera, I was unable to camera due to the camera being too big for the locations I was going to because of the small entrances, climbing over things or to having to discreet as well when entering these sites. But I was able to take photos of the sites with my own phone camera.

While exploring these sites understand why people choose to explore these kinda places but know there is a risk of getting caught, stuck or even injured while exploring these locations. Not knowing what is behind a door, gate or even woodlands to see the untouched areas within developed areas where the sites are contained and see how the architecture change throughout the years compare to modernize buildings.
TALK WITH FELLOW EXPLORER.
While exploring the old tunnels in Bournemouth I bumped into a fellow explorer who also explored these tunnels and I wanted to ask some questions about why he explores these kinds of sites. We exchanged contact details and arrange a zoom call later in time but then came the time of zoom call with the explorer he decided to not interview due to the recent trespasser charges from the police, he was unable to talk about his experiences as an urban explorer.

BLACKOUT POETRY WORKSHOP
The workshop is doing blackout poetry on articles we found about our topics, the topic I chose to do the workshop on, was the abandoned places in Thailand and why urban exploring a new way experience anything aboard. The workshop helped us to understand what keywords we could build on for our projects and branch out in our research.
